Hi, I’m Abbi Hanson — a licensed massage therapist, proud wife, and mama to three beautiful children.
I began my massage journey at The Arizona School of Massage Therapy, where I graduated in 2012 with a focus on Structural Integration. After stepping away to grow my family, I felt inspired to return to the field with a new passion—supporting expectant mothers through prenatal massage.
I’m especially drawn to working with individuals experiencing postural imbalances that affect mobility and cause chronic pain. This has led me to refine my structural massage techniques, with future plans to expand into myofascial therapy and oncology massage.
My goal is to help each client move more freely and feel more at home in their body.
Hi, I’m Amanda Havis, owner of Intuitive Touch Massage Therapy, licensed massage therapist, and certified personal trainer. I began my career after graduating from Cortiva Institute in 2007, and I’ve been proudly serving the McHenry community ever since.
In 2010, I founded Intuitive Touch Massage Therapy (ITMT) with the mission to help people move better, feel better, and take ownership of their well-being. Over the years, I’ve continued to grow my skills through advanced education in myofascial release, kinesiology, hot stone massage, reiki, aromatherapy, and therapeutic soft tissue work—particularly for knee injuries.
In addition to massage, I’m certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Behavior Change Specialist, Weightloss Specialist and Nutrition Coach. I specialize in helping clients reduce pain, improve mobility, and gain a deeper understanding of their bodies. Whether through massage, movement, or education, I’m passionate about empowering each individual with the tools they need to feel strong, resilient, and connected.
It’s been an honor to build lasting relationships with my clients—many of whom I’ve worked with for 10 years or more—and I truly love the work I do every day.
Intuitive Touch Massage Therapy opened its doors in 2010. It is located in a cozy little office building across from the McHenry police station. Please see above slideshow for pictures of our beautiful office.
Our dream was to offer a place where each session was specifically designed around that individuals needs. We wanted to offer more than just 'a deep tissue massage' or 'relaxation massage'. ITMT focuses on combining a variety of the most efficient techniques to create a highly effective session. The ultimate goal is to reduce pain and tension and increase mobility in the most productive and relaxing way possible.
Personal training focusing on corrective exercise is another service we offer to further increase mobility & strength. The goal is to build a strong foundation by assessing & correcting any muscle/postural imbalances & increasing stability, balance, endurance and strength.
Hi, I’m Ashley Little — a licensed massage therapist, certified stretch practitioner, and proud mama to my little mini-me.
My journey into bodywork began with stretch therapy, where I quickly discovered a deep passion for helping others move better, feel better, and live with less pain. Witnessing the positive impact that improved range of motion and flexibility had on my clients inspired me to take the next step—enrolling in the massage therapy program at First Institute, where I graduated in October 2024.
As a dedicated mom, I understand how essential self-care is for overall well-being. That’s why I take pride in creating personalized, goal-oriented sessions tailored to each client’s unique needs. I specialize in cupping, deep tissue massage, and trigger point therapy, and I’m passionate about expanding my skills through continued education in Thai massage, craniosacral therapy, and myofascial release.
My mission is simple: to support your healing—one session at a time.

Every session is designed to provide clinical benefits while maintaining a natural, intuitive flow that enhances the mind-body connection.
I’m truly passionate about the power of massage therapy and feel honored to help others improve their overall well-being and quality of life.
